As a Sr. Coordinator, Brett assists with various technology implementations and draws on his architectural background to facilitate the coordination of MEP and structural prefab design. To support the coordination process, Brett and the VDC team at PARIC utilize reality capture technology such as Laser Scanning and RTS instruments to observe field conditions and coordinate the results with project design models (BIM). Throughout the design and construction cycle, Brett leans on cloud-based technology to coordinate site control, verify fitment, and enable the field teams to layout and install prefabricated systems and built-in-place systems including foundations and walls, to PT sleeves and embeds. Brett’s real world experience with field technology has resulted in his focused knowledge of how to make technology work for PARIC.
